Led editorial team for Mizzou Creative, the University of Missouri’s central marketing and communications department. Worked with content strategists, writers, editors, photographers, designers and web developers in effective marketing and storytelling.
Spearheaded content strategy for central digital and print communications, including alumni relations, student recruitment, internal communications, social media, news, podcasts, events and special projects.
Served as editor of the award-winning MIZZOU alumni magazine, reaching 225,000 alumni homes. Staff won three 2016 Silver CASE Circle of Excellence awards.
Set campus-wide editorial standards and provide consulting services and presentations for communications colleagues. Plan and curate content among university units.
Relaunched and manage central university home page, garnering up to 10 million hits per year, and central news site.
Launched and oversee MU central social media presence, now with 272,000 followers on Facebook, 100,000 on Twitter and 44,000 on Instagram. Led team that drove more than 2.3 million click-throughs in FY2016.
Worked on redesign of two student recruitment campaigns. Manage Undergraduate Admissions site content. Launched innovative strategies for marketing to boost enrollment.
